The Eureka County Facilities and Events team, led Brenna Rogne, along with the swimming pool staff, has been busy this month hosting a variety of events for both children and adults.

The team started The Eureka Theater in September and has since hosted many movie nights. The addition of the movie nights has provided entertainment at the Eureka Opera House for the entire family nearly every weekend, with attendance ranging from 27 to 38 people each showing.

At the Eureka Museum, Cindy Buetel has done an excellent job organizing and hosting monthly craft days, which continue to be well received by the community.
Most recently, The Haunted Museum, held on Friday, October 23, was a huge success. Crystal Rikalo and the pool staff did an outstanding job decorating, dressing up, and creating a fun and spooky experience for visitors. Approximately 90 people attended the event. Lots of shrieks and screams echoed throughout the museum, but that only encouraged some brave guests to make a trip through twice.
The staff hopes to expand the haunting over the next few years. A huge thank you goes out to Cindy, Crystal and the entire pool staff for all their hard work and dedication. It was exciting to see everyone embrace the Halloween spirit and help make the event such a memorable success.
