Meet the Candidates: Brent Jones, Crescent Valley Town Board

My name is Brent Jones, and I am twenty-nine years old. I am a United States Navy veteran and serve as an EMT for Eureka County. My path to public service is different from that of many candidates: I have been elected to leadership positions in several organizations and have founded organizations that continue to operate in multiple countries. My experience includes writing bylaws, organizing special events, conducting fundraisers, and representing an organization of more than 1,200 people across seven countries. I often hear that our community needs fresh perspectives and new ideas, and I agree. I am not seeking to change things simply for the sake of change. I want to represent our community independently, ask questions when something does not seem right, and work to get clear answers for the people I serve. Above all, I want to protect our community while helping it grow stronger.
