My name is Jeremy Rice, and I have proudly called this community home since 2014. I have worked for Nevada gold mines for 19 yrs and plan to be here for the rest of my life. I have served as a Fire Chief since 2022, bringing more than 20 years of experience in leadership, public service, and working with several communities here in Nevada.
I truly love our quiet little community and the people who call it home. I enjoy working alongside my fellow Town Board members and our County Commissioners to help make our community a better place for everyone.
During my time serving our community, we have made several improvements to the Community Center, and we are continuing to work toward bringing walking path and exercise equipment to our Town Park. I am also working to try and get more mail boxes and parcel lockers added to our current location so that we don’t have to go to Carlin. I believe these improvements can provide more opportunities for families, seniors, and residents of all ages to enjoy our community.
I am asking for your vote so I can continue serving our community and doing everything I can to help make it an even better place to live. I am proud to call this community home, and I would be honored to continue working for you.
