Auction on County Courthouse Steps

Nine community members gathered on the steps of the Eureka County Courthouse for the scheduled auction of two Eureka properties.

Robin Hicks, the representative conducting the auction, waited until 11 a.m. for notification regarding the proposed sales. She then announced that Listing No. 1, 501 S. Main Street, had been postponed until Oct. 29, 2026. Immediately afterward, she announced that Listing No. 2, 617 Sharrow Circle, had also been postponed until Oct. 29, 2026.
